What’s new at the Holiday Inn Arlington? Our Ballston hotel is more than a brick building filled with a bunch of beds, ballrooms and buffet breakfasts. We have a team of almost 100 hospitality professionals, all of whom are eager to ensure your visit to our Virginia hotel is even better than you expected.

Going Green
We’ve made strides in reducing our impact, and will continue to explore and embrace new “green” initiatives. Here are some of the things we are already doing:
- Linen re-use program to reduce energy, water, and detergent consumption
- Water conservation via low-flow systems
- Energy conservation practices including CFC light bulbs and sensor-controlled heating/AC in guest rooms
- Recycling bins to encourage recycling of glass, paper, plastics, and aluminum
- Green Meetings program (Under Construction)
- Participation in IHG Green Engage program
Testimonials
We encourage feedback from all guests. We love to hear positive words from satisfied customers, especially when employees are recognized by name, so we can in turn recognize those employees for a job well done. Like any hotel, we do receive some comments where our guest was not 100% satisfied; it’s never fun to deal with a complaint, but we try to use those situations as opportunities to listen, learn, and improve. We try to be a good neighbor. Here are some of the ways we have been involved in our Arlington community:
- Our partnership with the Arlington Artists Alliance provides a venue for these local artists to display their works on a rotating basis, in our Silver Leaf Restaurant.
- We provided accommodations for the “Lose the Wheels” camp.
- We participate in the Ballston Business Improvement District.
- Complimentary meeting space and F&B for the A-SPAN gathering.
- Luncheon meeting provided for 125 Society of Government Meeting Planners.
